A Letter to Myself: Find the Beauty
It’s easy to get so wrapped up in the monotony of life that we forget to take a chance to smell the flowers. In December, I wrote a letter to myself to reflect on my journey this far and what it’s all for. Take some time this week to reflect on the beauty in your own journey - no matter how messy it may be. Remind yourself that this is all for a greater purpose, and each step is getting us there…if we believe.
Dear Taylor,
I just want you to know I’m proud of you. Even when I’m hard on you and put unrealistic expectations on you I’m still so proud. You’re doing things you said you would do and you’re curating the life you want to live by following the path God and the universe but before you.
It’s not easy to move forward without knowing what the outcome will be but you still did it. You’re taking risks and trying to build a future so your children and generations after you can flourish and look back and say, “Damn she worked hard to get this.”
There is so much beauty in this life. The unknowns, the past, the future, the present, the lessons, the connections, the blessings…
It’s all so beautiful ❤️
